What use to be a rail-bed is now used by locals for laying out on rocks soaking in the sun. This hike is a hidden treasure that not many know about. Located near Hot Springs, its the perfect hike to get your water fix!

Directions & Parking:
Using apple maps, Laurel River Trail / Using google maps, Laurel Creek Trailhead.
Take 213 towards Marshall, turn right onto US 25/70 Stay on this road for 21.3 miles until the just before the intersection with Hwy 208. The parking lot is gravel and will be on the left. Follow the trail to your left.
Notes: You will see signs saying private property, Don’t worry these are just stating to stay on the trail, once you pass a cute cottage you will be able to venture off to the water where ever you please.
